salon acme

art week 2026, CDMX

Salon Acme is a mainstay in Mexico City’s Art Week every February. Among the art scene happening that week, it’s a vibrant, energetic showcase. Featured artists are emerging names curated from a global selection with a strong showing from Latin America. But perhaps the most noteworthy is the crowd it attracts: global art professionals, art lovers, and so many families, children, local communities coming in to immerse in the artistic inspiration.

Housed within the stunning Proyecto Publicos Prim, it offers the the theatrical backdrop of the central atrium and airy courtyards for large scale installations and brand activations. It also creates the surprise and delight of the many little rooms across multiple levels operating as interconnected galleries within the two adjacent Neoclassical mansions.

Walking through the indoor outdoor space, the experience feels like just the right level of overwhelming. This year, the show featured 79 artists across six sections, plus an exhibition focused on the Veracruz region. The art is colorful, texturally rich, representing a range of mediums.

With tasteful branded moments, a couple bars, bites and an onsite restaurants, it’s easily a place you could spend an entire day immersed in creative energy.

All in all a beautiful presentation of exciting art, that also feels fueled by local and global creativity.
