Roma Norte is filled with trendy restaurants catering towards a trendy, highly international crowd. If these restaurants were a class, Huset would be the effortlessly chic girl with an international school accent who is always volunteering to host. With a name borrowed from the Swedish word for “house,” Huset is in reality more of a garden than a house. Through a beautiful iron gate, guests stumble into what feels like a magical secret garden. Lush feels like an understatement here. With rustic wooden furniture under a canopy of green and hanging lanterns to add to the bohemian vibe. The dining patio feels like an exclusive garden party in the best way.
The food is country style with a contemporary lens, emphasizing seasonal local ingredients and grilled meats and seafood. And on the drinks side plenty of refreshing cocktails to match the garden aesthetic. It’s a great place to gather, over shared bites and clinking glasses. During the day to soak up the sun dappling through the leaves, or in the evening under the glow of lanterns among lively chatter. Either way you’ll feel like you’re enclosed in a world of your own, which feels inherently celebratory.
