yoseka stationery

a precious treasure box of japanese stationery

Yoseka is more than a stationery store. It’s the kind of place that cultivates community in an organic way. Through the curation, the education, the collection of products that attracts journalers and calligraphers, anyone with a shared interest in the analogue, a shared passion for nice writing tools, a shared reverence for the tactile pleasure of putting pen to paper. Yoseka is a haven. A hushed library of tactile treasures, a meticulously curated selection of stationery from Asian brands from an impressive array of fountain pens and inks to premium notebooks and planners.

Yoseka is an interactive experience, inviting you to touch, feel, write as you shop. It’s a place for discovery, to fall in love with your next obsession. To find the perfect thing to add to your desk. In a digital-first world, there’s something undeniably special about this tangible experience, and to be immersed in a community of stationery enthusiasts. The shop owners, inspired by their family’s stationery shop in Taiwan, founded Yoseka as a pop up in Sunnyside back in 2018 before moving to its current footprint in Greenpoint in 2020. Since then, they’ve brought an expanded collection of niche brands to the city, that has blossomed to a thriving community that lines up around the block for a Stationery Fest.
