Update: As of April 2025, Day Row is permanently closed.
In a city where trendy cafes are on every corner, each with its own signature thing. In the backdrop of all that, Day Row feels remarkably normal. Set back within a courtyard in the hilly streets of Itaewon. A minimalist, clean space that still reads as cozy. An open coffee bar with a surface full of well-provisioned cake stands. On any given day the tables are filled with the young trendy crowd, but it doesn’t feel influencer-infested like many other cafes.
Their coffee is as good as any Korean cafe worth its salt. And their pastry case hits hard. Decadent cakes with seasonal fruits and tarts and scones that pair beautifully with coffee for a perfect afternoon ritual.
