In the many warm days Split enjoys, there’s usually an endless stream of customers lining up to get their fix at Luka. Around the corner from the National Theater, the Polish ice cream and dessert shop is a local favorite and for good reason. The ice cream flavors change by day but are always refreshing and creative: orange and carrot, mojito, and apple pie, colorful selections dolloped into tempting tubs. The dessert case is just as decadent, with pretty layered cakes and cream filled choux pastries. On sunny days, the staff puts out tables under the awning and cushions on the bench outside so you can enjoy your treat outside.
